Looking for some free family fun this weekend?

Here’s my top pick for the weekend:

Bass Pro Shops Family Summer Camp – Bass Pro knows how to do family events and my family loves them!  Today and tomorrow between 12 pm and 5 pm, your kids can get a free picture with daddy!  There are also free family activities like a BB shooting range, casting challenge, and homemade ice cream (activities may vary by location) as well as free crafts from 12-2 pm.

American Girl – Learn about Saige, our newest Girl of the Year! Your girl will go on a fun-filled scavenger hunt, collecting fun facts about Saige along the way. Plus, she’ll get a free American Girl poster at the end! Free and open to the public. For girls ages 8+.

Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs

Disney Store – Saturday, June 15th, 22nd and 29th at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m., join us to learn the fine art of scaring during Scare Approaches 101 and to celebrate the release of Disney’s newest movie Monsters University

Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.

Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, June 15th from 11-3 pm, kids make a father’s day tie craft!

Lowes Build and Grow – There is no workshop this week.  The next workshop will be on Saturday, June 22nd at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday June 23rd at 2 p.m., where kids can build a Monsters University Chest.  A free apron, goggles and patch are included with this FREE class.  Register for this class as well as other future classes here.

Michael’s Crafts –Saturday, June 15th from 1-3 p.m., FREE Martha Stewart Crafts™ Jewelry Show IN Tell

Pottery Barn Kids – During the whole week of June 10th, kids can go into any Pottery Barn store and make a FREE card for Father’s Day.
-Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.

Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.

The Home Depot – See Adult Weekly workshops here. (Landscape Design, Lawn Maintenance, Install Vinyl Flooring)

Toys R Us – Saturday, June 15th from 12-2 p.m., Lego City Father’s Day Event. Kids, families, dads! Join Us for a special day-before-Father’s Day LEGO Building Event! Build a LEGO City Police Car together, then bring it home with you!
