Maxell 48 count AA batteries – $11.87 with Subscribe & Save – I had some readers comment that their local dollar stores sell batteries and so those would be a better deal.  I can tell you from experience that those aren’t usually alkaline batteries and so they don’t last long at all.  I only got two pictures from our first trip to the zoo before my camera died due to cheap dollar store batteries, so I learned my lesson.  Sometimes you get what you pay for!
