Spring Craft: Plastic Egg Snakes!

Have you ever wondered what to do with all thos left over plastic Eggs from Easter?  My kids always insist on keeping the eggs, but then I spend the next several weeks picking-up egg pieces that have been “re-hidden” and then forgotten all over my house.  These plastic egg  snakes are a great solution.  My kids get to keep thier eggs to play with, but I am not picking them up and going crazy.  It is a win win situation!  Thanks Cafe Mom!

Here’s what you need to make these:

  • 15-20 Plastic Egg Bottoms
  • 2 Whole Plastic Eggs
  • Drill
  • Yarn or String
  • Permanent Marker
  • A Few Dried Beans
  • Tape

Easter Craft: Jelly Bean Door Decor

This is such a fun and easy Easter Craft to do with the kiddos and comes to you courtesy of Better Homes & Gardens Magazine.  Finally, something to do with all those jelly beans (besides eating them, of course!)!  As much as I love the idea of using all one color of jelly beans I am kind of leaning towards doing a multi-colored one.  Hmm… decisions, decisions.

Here’s what you need to make this:

  • paper mache letter of your choice (available in craft stores)
  • jelly beans (color of your choice)
  • acrylic paint (to match the color of your jelly beans)
  • ribbon
  • hot glue gun or spray adhesive
