Walgreens scenarios for the week of 3/15-3/21/09

The weekly ad match ups are here. If you are new to shopping at Walgreens, be sure to read the tips at the end of the match ups post.

I’ve got a $10 RR from the Huggies deal last week that I want to “roll” into some other deals this week. Here are my plans:

Transaction #1:

Buy 8 Dove body bars – $1.19 each at my stores
Buy 1 Cadbury egg – .50 (use in ad coupon)

Use $10 RR from Huggies deal

Spend .02, get $10 RR

Transaction #2:
Buy Reach floss, Reach toothbrush, Listerine antiseptic – 3/$9
Buy Gillette Fusion Gamer – $8.99 (reportedly working as a monthly deal)
Buy 1 Cadbury egg – .50 (use in ad coupon)

Use $3/3 Reach/Listerine coupon
Use $4 Gillette Fusion coupon
Use $10 RR

Spend $1.49, get $4 RR for the Gamer and $6 RR for the Listerine

or:
Buy Reach floss, Reach toothbrush, Listerine antiseptic – 3/$9
Buy Wet Wipes – $1.99 w/ in ad coupon
Buy Colgate Total Advanced toothpaste – $3.49
Buy 1 Spring Water 24 pk – $2.99 w/ in ad coupon
Buy 1 Easter mini sticker book – .33 w/ in ad coupon

Use $3/3 Reach/Listerine coupon
Use .75/1 Wet Wipes printable here
Use $2.50/1 Colgate Easysaver catalog coupon
Use $1.50/1 Colgate Total All You magazine coupon (remember to give the manufacturer’s coupon first)
Use $10 RR

Total OOP = .05, get $6 RR back

You can repeat these scenarios over and over again if you choose to!

Comments

  1. I haven’t decided what I want to do with my RR’s yet. I have some Dove Q’s that makes the deodorant a good deal if the regular price isn’t too high. But then I have to decide how much stuff I want to buy. Ugg, decisions, I feel really bad at making them lately.
