Target deals for the week of 2/27

Here’s my Target “Top 20” deals of the week.  Keep in mind that pricing may vary by area. Always check your local ad to confirm that they have the “weekly deals.”  Some of these deals were not listed in the weekly ad, which means YMMV in terms of pricing.  Thanks to Totally Target for the heads up on many of the price cuts!

Get Text Alerts from Target: receive coupons, deals, and weekly ad reminders on your mobile phone – use a barcode that can be scanned at check-out for multiple one time only coupon deals throughout the month.  The text alerts for mobile coupons appear to be released on Sundays and appear to be valid for one week only (when the new round is released on Sundays, the old round disappears).

Now, you can save 5% when you use your Target Red Card. (This is valid in stores only)

Target now offers price matching. You can check out their policy here.

At Target, you can use one Target coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon per item. The printable Target coupons now state “one per transaction” meaning you can only use one “like” coupon per transaction. The Target coupons from the inserts do not have this wording and neither do the Target toy coupons. You can read/print their coupon policy here.

They are also offering a .05 credit when you bring in your own reusable shopping bag!

Domino’s Pizza: BOGO free code!

Right now, Domino’s Pizza has a great deal: Buy one large pizza, get a second one FREE when you enter the code ACCESS at check-out!

Please note that this code may not be available in all areas, but it worked great for me! If it’s working in your area, when you enter the code ACCESS at check-out, it should deduct the price of the second pizza!

In some areas, the code EBCS will get you free Cinna Stix! (this one didn’t work in my area)

Randall’s frozen foods deal!

March marks the start of “Frozen foods” month and the deals are already starting to pop up!

In today’s Sunday paper, there will be a special Randall’s ad (or Safeway if you have Safeway stores).  The best part of this ad is a coupon for $5 off instantly when you spend $15 on frozen foods.  This is based on the pre-coupon price!  Randall’s will double ONE like coupon per transaction (with a face value up to $.50) and triple ONE like coupon per transaction (with a face value up to $.39).  These deals are valid through Tuesday, 3/1 ONLY!

Here’s my FAVORITE deal: (we love these pizzas!)

Buy 3 California Pizza Kitchen pizzas – $5.99/each

Use 3 $1.25/1 California Pizza Kitchen printables (you would have to ‘like’ them on Facebook and need access to multiple computers)
-$5/15 store promotional coupon

Spend $9.22 OOP ($3.07 per pizza)
**According to Slick Deals, there is a $1.25 OYNO catalina deal for each California Pizza Kitchen pizza you bet, so you should get $3.75 in catlinas back, BUT catalina deals are sometimes regional, so I can’t guarantee this will happen….

Buy 6 Stouffer’s or Lean Cuisine Entrees – 5/$10
Buy 2 Dreyer’s Slow Churned shakes frozen shake mix or frozen Smoothie mix (free when you buy 5 Stouffer’s/Lean Cuisine)
Buy 1 Eggo’s waffle – $2
Buy 1 Safeway frozen potatoes – $1.59

Use 3 $1.10/2 Lean Cuisine printables (you would need access to 2 computers) or 3 $1/2 Stouffer’s coupons (2-6 RP)
Use $5/15 Store promotional coupon

Final Price = as low as $7.29 OOP if you are buying the Lean Cuisine!
NOTE:  If the 2 “free” Dreyer’s items count toward the $15, you wouldn’t need to buy the Eggo’s or the potatoes and your out of pocket would be even less!
NOTE:  There are also $1/3 Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s coupons in the frozen foods coupon books

The Kellogg’s Eggo waffles are 2/$4.  There are $2/3 Kellogg’s Eggo waffles coupons in the Frozen Foods coupon books (see the picture below), so if you can get your hands on those, this ends up being a pretty hot deal!

Here’s the breakdown:
Buy 8 Kellogg’s Eggo waffles – $2 each

Use 2 $2/3 Kellogg’s Eggo waffles coupons (from the frozen foods book)
Use $5/15 Store promo coupon

Spend $7 OOP (that’s $.88 per box!)

This was not in our ad, but  it was posted by Couponing Craze on Slick Deals.  Keep in mind that pricing may vary by area:

Buy 6 Jimmy Dean bowls – $2.50/each

Use 6 $.75/1 Jimmy Dean cooked products coupons (2-6 RP)
Use $5/15 store promotion coupon

Spend $5.50 OOP ($.92/each)

Keep your eyes open for this hot coupon book which has lots of great coupons to match up with the frozen foods deals!  If you don’t see it “out” in your store, you can also try asking for one at customer service.

Here are some other deals from the ad:
-Blueberries – BOGO free ($3.99 for two!)
-Buy 2 Pepsi or Dr. Pepper products, get 2 free!

SUPER COUPONS: (minimum purchase of $10 is required)

Kellogg’s Raisin Bran – $1.99 (w/ in ad coupon)

Final Price = $1.29 after coupons

Frequently asked questions:

Do you really do multiple transactions at your stores?

In the past, I usually had $20-30 ECB on hand, so I didn’t have to break up my transactions as much as I did when I first started, but now that I am starting over, yes, I am doing multiple transactions. If you are doing multiple transactions, I recommend that you let the cashier know up front that is what you are planning to do. If there are several people in line, let them go in between your transactions. This gives you time to clip your ECBs and get prepared for your next transaction.

My store was out of all the freebie items first thing this morning. Can I get a raincheck?

This all depends on your store. I have contacted corporate about this before because some stores in my area give rainchecks and others won’t. According to corporate, this is up to the individual stores.

I bought the wrong item or I bought the RIGHT item and my ECB didn’t print. What can I do?

If you bought the right item, show the store clerk your ad and your receipt. They should be able to manually print your ECB at the store. If they don’t know how, you can call customer service and they can add one to your account that will print within 48 hours (you have to wait 48 hours from your purchase time to do this so they can “see” your transaction in their computer).

If you bought the wrong item and didn’t receive ECBs, you can do a return and purchase the correct item. If you paid using ECBs, they will have to give you money on a gift card.
