TX/LA Kroger shoppers: Last chance for cheap cereal and Goldfish crackers!

Kroger shoppers in Texas and Louisiana – tomorrow is your LAST chance to take advantage of the cheap deals on Kellogg’s cereal and Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers! In case you’re wondering, I paid $20.45 out of pocket for all of this, but I’ll get $20 in gas cards back, so it will be like I got all of it for just $.45 out of pocket!

Here’s the breakdown on these two deals in case you missed them:

Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers – 5/$5 (you don’t have to buy in multiples of 5 – they will ring up at $1 each as long as you use your Kroger Plus card)
$.55/1 Pepperidge Farm Extreme Goldfish (there are peelies for these on the Extreme Goldfish flavors and there were also coupons in the regular cheddar cheese Goldfish crackers)
$.75/1 Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Grahams (these are in the packages of regular cheddar cheese Goldfish crackers)
Final Price = $.25 for Goldfish Grahams and $.45 for Extreme Goldfish if you have the coupons

Right now, Kellogg’s has a promotion where you can earn prizes such as concession cash or gas cash for buying specially marked boxes of cereal, Nutrigrain bars, and Eggo waffles! You can learn more about this HOT promotion here.

They also have a promotion where you can earn a $10 gas rewards card when you buy participating cereals (Crispix is included).  You can learn more about this promotion here.

You can see all of the items that are a part of the Kroger Mega sale and match-ups in this post here.

Crispix, Raisin Bran, and Rice Krispies all “work” for both promotions. We happen to like Crispix and it hardly ever goes on sale, so we figured this was a good time to stock up.  Make sure that you buy the boxes that have the promotional Cars 2 packaging if you want to do both promotions.

Here’s the breakdown on this scenario:

Buy 10 Crispix cereal – $2.13

Use 3 $1/3 Kellogg’s cereal coupons

Spend $18.30 out of pocket, submit for $10 Kellogg’s rebate and get 2 $5 gas cash cards using Cars 2 promotion

You can find more scenarios and match-ups here! Did you take advantage of this hot promotion?

PLEASE NOTE: The pricing on some varieties of cereal may be more or less expensive than what is listed here!  There are other cereals that are part of the promotion that are less expensive than the Crispix.

Considering Kroger ended d/t coupons in Houston/Gulf Coast area 4/13/11, and this is now spreading to other stores in the state, I have been BOYCOTTING KROGER since 3/21/11, and joined a group fighting to have our d/t coupons returned AND to prevent other areas from losing theirs …AND have signed this petition to have TLC’s EC show canceled …http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/extremecouponing/

Fortunately, I can take these deals to either WM or Target and do price matching … I often find WM prices are already lower than Kroger’s sale prices, so I may end up with a better deal!
