Coupons to stock up on for upcoming deals

People often ask how I know which coupons to stock up on for upcoming deals. Some of it is based on experience regarding sales that seem to take place from year to year and some of it is based on ad scans for upcoming sales.

Right now, I don’t buy a weekly paper. I only buy my coupons from a coupon clipping service. I have been doing this for about a year now and it is what has worked out best for me. This week there will be two inserts in the Sunday paper: one Red Plum and one Smartsource. If you are needing to stock up on Halloween candy or wanting to stock your medicine cabinet, there will be some great coupons!

PROCTER & GAMBLE:

$.75/1 Crest – there always seems to be toothpaste deals at CVS and Walgreens, so if you need to stock up, grab some coupons

$1/1 Gain Dish Detergent (this will be free at Walmart)- My Coupon Hunter is already sold out, but she did post that she will be listing more coupons today and tomorrow, so keep checking! The Coupon Clippers still has them as of this morning (priced at $.20/each, limit 10).  You can also check eBay.  This is probably the hottest coupon this week and will go quickly!

RED PLUM:

$1/1 Garnier Fructis shampoo, conditioner, or treatment

$1/2 Jimmy Dean sausage rolls – we love these for sausage balls and yummy breakfast casseroles during the holidays!

$1.50/3 M&Ms brand milk chocolate candies (also includes Snickers, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, and Twix) – get ready to stock up on Hallowee candy!

$1/1 Maybelline New York mascara – use 2 with a BOGO free deal and get cheap mascara!

$1/1 Maybelline New York eye shadow

$1/2 Purex Ultra Concentrate liquid laundry detergent

BOGO free Reach Total Care + Whitening toothbrush – Walgreens has deals on these all of the time where you can get them free (and sometimes get overage)

$2/1 Reach Total Care Plus Whitening floss – Walgreens also has deals on the floss pretty often

SMARTSOURCE:

$1/1 Colgate Total toothpaste – this is free after RR or ECBs at CVS and Walgreens pretty regularly

$1/1 Danimals drinks/yogurts – you can get these from $.50-$1 after coupon with sale prices

$1/2 Halls cough drops – these will be free after RR ($1/each) at Walgreens this week

$.50/1 No Yolks noodles – if your grocery stores double, you should be able to get these for close to free!

$.50/1 Pepperidge Farm cookies – if your grocery store doubles, pair these with a sale and get cheap cookies!

$1/1 Rayovac alkaline or hearing aid batteries – during the holidays, they usually have these in the dollar spot at Target, so they will be FREE after coupon!

$1/1 All liquid laundry detergent – pair this with a sale for a great deal (it will be $1.99 after coupon at Kroger!)

$1/1 Aveeno Active Naturals or Baby Care product – I love their baby line!

$1/3 M&Ms/Mars fun size bags – get ready to stock up on Halloween candy!

$.40/1 Pillsbury brownie minis mix – if your grocery stores double, you should be able to get brownie mixes for $.20 when combined with a sale price (they got 10/$10 pretty often)

PROCTER & GAMBLE:

$1/1 Crest toothpaste – these always come in handy for Walgreens/CVS deals!

$2/1 Gillette body wash – you can usually get these for free or close to free when paired with a sale

$.25/1 Ivory body wash, bars, or liquid hand soap – the bars go 10/$10 pretty regularly, so if your grocery stores triple, you should be able to get them for $.25 after coupon

$1/1 Kandoo flushable wipes – thse don’t expire until 12/31!

BOGO free Old Spice body wash – you can usually get these for free or close to free when paired with a sale

SMARTSOURCE:

$1/2 Barilla pasta – get it for $.50/each when your stores have it on sale 10/$10 (they do this pretty regularly)

$1/1 California Pizza Kitchen pizza – love their pizzas!

$.50/2 Carnation evaporated milk – you should be able to get these for free or close to free if your grocery stores double with baking sales starting soon!

$1/3 Hershey’s, Reese’s, or Kit Kat snack size bags – get ready to take advantage of the sales and stock up on Halloween candy!

$2/1 Huggies Little Snugglers diapers

$.75/5 Swanson broth – there should be great sales on this with Thanksgiving being just around the corner, so plan to stock up!

$1/2 Kraft sliced cheese – there have been some great Kraft sales lately

$1/2 Kraft or cracker barrel cheese (shreds or chunks) – again to match up with Kraft sales

$1/2 Nabisco cookies or crackers – these always come in handy at our house for snacks for kids and my husband!

$1/2 Planters products – there are usually good deals on nuts around the holidays

$1/1 Sorrento Stringsters or Sticksters snack cheese

$1/2 Velveeta shells & cheese – my kids LOVE these and they are great to have in a pinch when I really don’t have time to cook
