Cooking With Kids Thursday: Peanut Butter Banana Bites!

Who needs ice cream this summer when you can eat these delicious peanut butter banana bites, dipped in chocolate and then frozen?  This is a great treat to get the kids involved in making.  They can practice cutting skills while slicing the banana an spreading skills with the peanut butter.  Thanks for the idea Nom! Nom! Nom!

Here’s what you need to make this:

  • 2 large bananas
  • 1/4 cup peanut but­ter
  • 1/2 cup choco­late chips
  • 2 tbsp-1/4 cup milk

Cooking With Kids Thursday: Bite Size Apple Pies

These look so yummy and I just know my kids would have so much fun helping to make them!  Can you imagine how good your house will smell after baking these?  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.  Thanks for finding and sharing the recipe Laurie!

  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 pkg. (14.1 oz..} refrigerated pie crust
  • 3 tbsp. melted butter, divided
  • 2 medium tart apples, each cut into 8 wedges
