In Store deals for the day: 12/21/08

**Don’t forget to tell me what changes you’d like to see on the blog in the new year. You can do that here.

Bath & Body Works: They reportedly have their holiday items marked down up to 75% off.

CVS: The two day sale is GREAT! (if you can find items in stock). View the scenarios for this sale (and the ad highlights for the rest of the week) here.

Hallmark: Get three .99 cards for $1 using this printable coupon here.

Kroger: Huggies diapers/Pull Ups are on sale this week (through Tuesday in my stores, YMMV depending on how your ad runs) for $9.99/each. When you use your card, you get an instant $3 off (through 12/23). There are $1 and $1.50 manufacturer’s coupons out there from the inserts and home mailers and $2 Pull Ups coupons (printable, inserts, and mailers). There are also coupons that you can load onto your Kroger card for $1.50 and $1 off at and I think the cheapest way to do this is to buy 2 packages of Huggies diapers (one regular/one Supreme). Use the $1 off manufacturer’s coupons if you have them. The $1.50 and $1 will come off from Cellfire and Shortcuts. The $3 will come off instantly. If you have all the coupons, it should be $11.48 for 2 packages. If you have receipts for at least 5 packages, you can send in for the rebate from Caregivers making it $9.48 for 2 packages (or $4.74/package). **You can only do this deal two times per transaction.** If you are doing this deal, there are $2/2 coupons you can print from the blue banners at the top and on the sidebar of the blog.

Philadelphia cream cheese is reportedly on sale 10/$10 in some areas. There is a $1/2 printable coupon you can use to get 2 packages of cream cheese for $1. Here’s the link.

You can also get free Cottonelle toilet paper with the coupons from Cellfire and Shortcuts along with your manufacturer’s coupons and free Colgate Total toothpaste with the $1.50 Cellfire coupon and your printable $1.50 coupons.

Target: New printable coupons are up on their site. There is nothing I’m incredibly excited about, but sometimes things look better due to sales. They have changed the fine print to state one per transaction čÖü Here’s what they’ve got:

$2 off Sutton & Dodge® steakhouse quality choice Angus beef Steak or Roast
$1 off 20-oz. or larger Tyson frozen chicken item (there was a manufacturer’s coupon for this in a recent insert)
$1 off 5-lb. bag Green Giant russet potatoes Excludes organic
$1 off 32-oz. Archer Farms® juice
$1 off Family Size Frito Lay chips
50¢ off Pringles King can
$1 off With purchase of two Archer Farms® frozen vegetables
$1 off 56-oz. Archer Farms® ice cream
$1 off With purchase of four Market Pantry® soups

The Philadelphia cream cheese is reportedly $1.12 at Super Target. Use this link to print a coupon for $1/2.

Walgreens: There aren’t a lot of hot deals this week. You can view the ad highlights here. The main biggie is the free hair dryer ($10, earn $10 RR), which is tomorrow only.

The Energizer battery charger that I posted about yesterday is a good deal still, as well. It is $9.99 now, but if you have the $1 manufacturer’s coupon (some reportedly have $2 peelies also), it will still be a $1 moneymaker with the $5 Easysaver rebate and the $5 manufacturer’s rebate.
