FREE Weekend Family Fun and Activities Round-Up!

Looking for some free family fun this weekend?  Here is a round up of free activities and events.

Here’s my top “family” pick for the day!  Bass Pro Shops is having a Kids Outdoor Skills challenge event.  If you’ve never been to an event at Bass Pro Shops, they do a fantastic job!  Your kids can participate in outdoor activities like casting, archery, and knot tying and there are crafts, too!  They can get a free flashing wristband and spin the wheel to win other prizes like a backpack!  The event is from 12-4 p.m. 4/27 and 4/28!  Get the scoop on this deal here–> Bass Pro Shops Kids Outdoor Skills Challenge Event

If you’ve been wanting to check out Sam’s Club, here’s the perfect excuse!  Check them out for FREE this weekend!  This event runs through Sunday, 4/28.  In the past, when they have had these events there has been a 10% fee to “shop” but today it’s completely free!  They always have great samples on the weekend, too!  The line-up for free samples today includes patriotic pound cake, gourmet cheese, fresh enchilada bake, grilled steak salad, Applewood smoked pork chops, Garlic and Herb chicken, spinach artichoke dip, Italian deli pasta, Honey BBQ pork tenderloin, and Fruity Lemonade cooler!  Get more scoop on this promotion here–> Sam’s Club Open House

AC Moore – Saturday, April 27th from 1-3 p.m., Demo Mother’s Day Glass Block with Plaid® Gallery Glass®

American Girl – Learn about Saige, our newest Girl of the Year! Your girl will go on a fun-filled scavenger hunt, collecting fun facts about Saige along the way. Plus, she’ll get a free American Girl poster at the end! Free and open to the public. For girls ages 8+.

You can also complete Rebecca’s Charity Box craft at select locations.

Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs

Disney Store – Join us April 22^nd and receive a FREE Brave or Cars 2 Reusable Bag when you come in and recycle 5 plastic shopping bags

Lakeshore Learning – Saturday, April 27th from 11-3 pm, kids can make Make-A-Face Puppets

Lowes Build and Grow – There is no class this week.  The next class will be on Saturday, May 11th at 10:00 a.m., where kids can build a Sweetheart Frame.  A free apron, goggles and patch are included with this FREE class.  Register for this class as well as other future classes here.

Michael’s Crafts – Saturday, April 20th from 1-3 p.m., FREE DIY Chain Maille Earring Show IN Tell

Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.

Pottery Barn Kids -Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.
