Free Weekend Family Fun and Activities Round-Up!

Looking for some free family fun this weekend?  Here is a round up of free activities and events.  It’s always a good idea to check with your local store before going to make sure that they are participating (especially if you’ve got a drive).

Apple Stores – Check your local store for weekly workshops and youth programs

Bank of America Museums on Us – This weekend, July 4 and 5, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders can get free access to 150 participating museums in 32 states and 98 cities.  It includes locations such as zoos and Children’s Museums!

Barnes & Noble – Saturday, June 27th at 11 am, story time and activities featuring the children’s book Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark.  Look here for a store near you.  Don’t forget to sign up for their FREE summer reading program!  Your kids can get free books!

Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores – Free demos every Saturday, check your store here for more details.

Lakeshore Learning – Check back for classes every Saturday.

Lowes Build and Grow – Saturday, July 11th at 10 a.m., kids can make Black Widow’s Sky Cycle.  Free apron, goggles and patch are included.  Register for this class here

Michael’s Kids Club:  Check back for fun classes for the whole family.

Microsoft Stores – Check your local store for classes and special events for the whole family.

Pottery Barn Kids – Tuesday’s from 11-11:30 a.m., Story Time.

Target – select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target.

The Home Depot – Saturday, July 4th kids can learn to build a Minions mini scooter.  All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.
