If you want to do something fun as a family this weekend, but don’t have a lot of money to spend, here’s a list of free family activities that won’t bust your budget this weekend!
AC Moore –
Saturday 11/12 from 1-3pm, Make a Holiday card to send to the troops.
Sunday 11/13 from 1-3pm, Make n’ Mold candy making demonstration: Mint Marshmallow Pops.
Bass Pro Shops – Santa’s Wonderland from 11/5-12/24. Be sure to select your store in the drop down menu for complete details and schedule.
11/6-12/24 Every weekday, Monday-Friday, from 5 to 7 pm and every weekend, Saturday & Sunday, from noon to 5pm, kids can take part in making crafts and holiday ornaments, like a snowman door hanger or animal sun catcher and construct great ornaments out of fishing bobbers, Popsicle sticks, jingle bells and more—even decorate Christmas cookies December 19th-24th! Free fun Santa Bandz bracelet offered every weekday to the first 150 kids who visit Santa’s Wonderland Monday through Friday from 5-7pm (a different style will be offered each week).
Free 4×6 studio-quality photo with Santa from 3pm to 8pm Monday through Friday, Saturday’s 10am to 8pm and Sunday’s noon to 5 pm.
Saturday 11/12 from 10:30am-1pm, Muppet Craftational Event: Use your imagination to make a most inspirational, celebrational Muppet.
Friday 11/11 through Tuesday 11/15, Bring in a T-Shirt to be recycled and a Friends and Family coupon to any Disney Store and save 25% off your entire purchase!

Saturday 11/12 from 11am-3pm, Silly Scarecrow: kids create a wild-eyed scarecrow.

Saturday 11/12 from 10-11am, Make-It Take-It Button Ring with purchase of buttons. From 11am-Noon, Martha Stewart Crafts Ornament Maker Demo. From 1-3pm, Wilton Gingerbread House Free Demo.

National Parks, Veterans Day Weekend –
Friday 11/11 through Sunday 11/13, Free Entrance to over 100 National Parks that usually charge entrance fees!
Saturday 11/12 at 3pm & 4pm, Doll Tea Party St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Benefit: For a $5 donation to St. Jude, kids enjoy refreshments, stories and crafting with a favorite doll or teddy bear. RSVP required.
Tuesday 11/15 at 11am, Elf on the Shelf Story Time: learn about the Elf on the Shelf and help name the elf in your store.
