A fun freebie: Easy Bakeware

This is a great offer for yourself or as a gift for someone else, but make sure you read through and follow the instructions below. The pan is free, but you do pay $1 for shipping. I ordered the fluted cake pan.

Here’s the scoop:

1. Choose an item to order from the link above or by clicking here. Add the item to your bag.

2. Click on check-out. Fill out your customer information. Click on complete order (you can enter friend’s e-mail addresses if you would like, but it is not a requirement – I don’t recommend it…if you want to tell your friends about this offer, send them this post with the step by step instructions so they get a heads up on the “catches”).

3. There are two different shipping options:
*If you choose the $7.95 shipping option, you get your pan for free and there’s nothing else to remember.

*If you choose the $1 shipping option (in red), you are also registering for a 7 day free trial of “Home Savings Mall.” After the seven day free trial, you will be charged $14.95. Here’s the key: Mark the date of your purchase on your calendar or find another way to remind yourself and then choose a date within 7 days to cancel your free trial. To cancel, you can call toll-free at 800-544-1528 and speak to a Home Savings Mall representative within the first 7 days to cancel.

If you select this option, it’s also a good idea to print your order page, which includes the terms and conditions of the offer along with the cancellation information. I usually put this page in my planner on the date I plan to cancel to remind me!

If you are good at keeping track of things, the $1 shipping option is totally “doable.” Make sure that when you cancel, you write down the date/time you called, the name of the person you spoke with, and a cancellation number if they give you one.
