I have seen several sites that do a “$5 charity challenge” where they challenge people to buy as much as they can for $5 or less and donate to charity at least once a month.
Charitable organizations are in desperate need of donations at this time of year. If you are wanting to donate to an organization in your area, here’s a scenario for a “$5 challenge”

Buy 1 Kotex pads – $2.49/each (free after coupons)
Buy 2 Cheez It crackers – $1.49/each (.24/each after coupons)
Buy 2 Betty Crocker fruit snacks – $1.99/each (.99/each after coupons)
Total after coupons = $4.12 (tax may apply on some items depending on your area)
