My friend DeAna has started up a blog called Balancing Act Basics that focuses on trying to find balance in all those everyday things (motherhood, employment, bargain hunting, etc.) that pull us in a million directions. Freebie Friday: Another $10 Target gift card giveaway

It’s Freebie Friday again! If you’ve been reading my blog for long, you know that I have been doing a gift card giveaway each month. I put up a poll earlier in the month to see what kind of gift card my readers would like to win and the response was overwhelmingly for Target once again, so Target it is! If you shop at Target, you know that even $10 can go a long way if you use coupons!

Here’s the scoop:

The giveaway will run from now until 11:59 PM (PST) on Friday, 5/1/09. I will announce the winner on Saturday, 5/2/09. (The winner will be randomly selected using random.org)

You can enter up to three times. Here are the ways that you can enter:

1. Post a comment telling me about some of your “favorite” Target bargains.

2. Sign up to follow my blog (if you are already following my blog, you automatically get an entry!) or subscribe to my blog (if you subscribe, please post a comment to let me know that you have subscribed).

3. Create a post on your blog letting others know about the giveaway and link back to my blog. Be sure to comment here with a link to your post!

New Old Navy weekly coupons are up!

The new Old Navy Weekly coupons are up! I’m not sure what time they went “live” but the $75 off $100 purchase and $15 off $75 purchase coupons are already gone.

Weekly coupon round up: preview of coupons for the 4/26 inserts

This week there will be two inserts in the Sunday paper! You can access the full listing of coupons that will be included here on The Coupon Clippers. Keep in mind that inserts vary by location, so your inserts may have different coupons or different dollar amounts.

Thrifty Thursday: What I got for free this week

For my Thrifty Thursday post this week, I thought I’d share a few of the things I’ve gotten for free this week:

Randalls: 3 12 packs Pepsi products, 2 bags Tostitos chips, 1 loaf of bread – Randalls had a deal where you got 3 12 packs of Pepsi products and 2 bags of Frito Lay chips for $9.99. I used 2 $2/1 Pepsi products coupons from the Frito Lay rebate book, a “free” coupon for the Mountain Dew from Bzz Agent, a $3/2 coupon from the Pepsi rebate for the Tostitos, and a $2 catalina for the bread.

HEB: Their Pop Tarts were on sale 5/$5. I used $1/1 coupons I had and got them for free!

CVS: I went to CVS to do some of the weekly deals and they were marking down their candy to 90% off. I got 8 bags of M&Ms, 8 bags of York Peppermint patties, 5 bags of Hershey’s kisses, 1 Edge shave gel, 1 box of Robin’s Eggs (my favorite Easter candy!), and Bayer. The M&Ms, York, and Hershey’s Kisses were $.29/bag! I paid using ECBs. They will come in handy for end of year treat bags and I’m sure people at work will be happy that my candy jar is full!

Kroger: Their Angel Soft 4 packs are on sale for $.99 this week. There were $.50/1 coupons in Sunday’s paper. My Kroger doubles coupons, so they were free.
