Redbox free rental PLUS send a valentine and free rental to a friend!

Redbox has a fun promotion going on their Facebook page right now: You can send a virtual Valentine to your friends and they will include a code for a FREE one night DVD rental! You can send your virtual Valentine here.

They also have two free rental codes available right now:  FEB7MOVIE (today only) and BEMINE

Here are a few other promotional codes that may work if you haven’t used them before: (you can use them once per credit card)  Redbox now carries Blu Ray movies, too.  Blu Ray rentals are $1.50/each, so these codes will deduct $1.

Coupon Basics: The truth about 10 for $10 sales!

A common marketing tactic that many stores use is 10 for $10 sales. Many people assume that you have to purchase 10 items in order to get the discounted price, but most of the time, this is not the case! Typically, you can buy just one or two items and you will still only pay $1 for each item!! (you may want to check with your store to confirm that this is the case)

Also, when there are 10 for $10 “mix and match” sales, you can buy different items and still get the sale price!
