Weight Watchers printable coupons: $3/10 and $1/5

Most days I’m all about convenience.  I’d love to be able to make my own lunch, but after making kids lunches and trying to get myself and my two kids ready and out the door, I am usually out of time.  I love Weight Watchers Smart Ones because it’s quick and easy!   I can just throw one in my lunch bag and it only takes a few minutes to microwave for lunch.

These are typically priced between $1.78 and $1.98 at my Walmart stores. Here’s the breakdown on pricing:

Spend $14.80 OOP ($1.48/each)

My favorite varieties are the Chicken & Mushroom Florentine Smart Mini Wraps and Pasta with Ricotta and Spinach. Slow Cooker Mondays: French dip sandwiches!

Who wants to cook on Mondays?  Not me!  It’s hard enough to get everything together on a Monday morning to get out the door for work and by the time I get home, I’m usually worn out.  I love my slow cooker and our family would be eating out all the time probably without it!  I’m going to start sharing a favorite slow cooker recipe with you each Monday.  I hope that you’ll enjoy!  My time is limited in the mornings, so most of these recipes can be quickly thrown together (literally!) in a few minutes!

Today’s recipe is a family favorite – french dip sandwiches.  It doesn’t get much easier than this.  The only “work” involved for you is shredding the meat when you get home.  They are sooo yummy!

Here are the ingredients you’ll need:

beef roast
2 cans beef broth
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
4-6 hoagie buns
(we also add some swiss or provolone cheese)

Place roast in a greased slow cooker. Pour broth over the top of the roast. Add spices. Cover and cook on low heat 8-10 hours (or high heat 5-7 hours). Remove roast and save extra juice. With a fork, break the meat apart and serve on hoagies. Use excess juice for dipping sandwiches.

WW points = 7 points per serving (this does not include the cheese or the buns, add 2 points for the cheese and 4 points for the whole wheat bun)

Here’s the finished product.  Sorry we didn’t have any “fancy” plates to make it look pretty.  We were celebrating my niece’s birthday and she thought they were plenty fancy!  We served these with fruit salad and veggies and dip!

Target Deals for the week of 9/11

Here’s my Target Top 25 deals of the week. Keep in mind that pricing may vary by area. Always check your local ad to confirm that they have the “weekly deals.”  This was a slow ad week and many of these deals are not in the weekly ad but are “deals” because of “stacking” of Target coupons and manufacture’s coupons, which means your market may vary in terms of pricing – sometimes pricing varies from one store to the next within my own area!  Thanks to Totally Target for the heads up on many of the price cuts!  Make sure you check out the changes to the Target coupon policy here.  Also, Target printables can disappear VERY quickly(sometimes within a few hours), s0 make sure you print the ones you want as soon as they come out!

Get Text Alerts from Target: receive coupons, deals, and weekly ad reminders on your mobile phone – use a barcode that can be scanned at check-out for multiple one time only coupon deals throughout the month.  The text alerts for mobile coupons appear to be released on Sundays and appear to be valid for one week only (when the new round is released on Sundays, the old round disappears)

Now, you can save 5% when you use your Target Red Card. (This is valid in stores only)

Target now offers price matching. You can check out their policy here.

At Target, you can use one Target coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon per item.Theprintable Target coupons now state “one per transaction” meaning you can only use one “like”coupon per transaction. The Target coupons from the inserts do not have this wording and neither do the Target toy coupons. You can read/print their coupon policy here.

They are also offering a .05 credit when you bring in your own reusable shopping bag!
