Check out the latest Swagbucks promotion: Swagbucks TV!

Search & Win

It’s going to be a BIG week at Swagbucks starting today!!  If you’re not familiar with Swagbucks, you earn “Swagbucks” by searching online and your Swagbucks can then be redeemed for gift cards or other prizes and merchandise.  I typically redeem mine for Amazon gift cards.  Last year, I saved them throughout the year and used them to pay for our Christmas gifts.  This year, I have been saving some, but I have also used them to pay for some things that we needed like Pull Ups, batteries, a booster seat, and books for our family.

Swagbucks has great promotions starting today for new members and for current members!  If you haven’t signed up yet, it’s a great time to join!  New members will receive 30 Swagbucks just for signing up here and then you can get an 30 EXTRA Swagbucks when you enter the code SBTVisOnTheAir (it is case sensitive).  This code is valid through 11:59 pm on Friday, October 22nd.

If you’re already a member, make sure you check out Swagbucks TV, which is being introduced today!  Find fun, fresh, and original video entertainment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on topics ranging from Health&Beauty, to Technology, Sports, Nature, and more! In addition to all the great content, you’ll be eligible to earn Swag Bucks periodically as you watch videos, with multiple earning opportunities and values every single day! And, for the first two weeks, they’ll be extending our referral matching program to Swagbucks TV. That means that you’ll earn matching Swag Bucks every time your referrals earn on Swagbucks TV! (Note: you will receive a bonus at the end of the two week period which contains the full total of all your matching TV bucks) There will even be special Swag Codes every day which reward people for answering trivia questions about the videos featured on the site.  Swagbucks TV will be launched between 10 am and 11 am PT today, and you can check it out here!

If you’ve signed up, but haven’t really done much with your Swagbucks account because you weren’t really sure how it works, here are some tips for making the most of your account:

*Do the Daily Poll every day and earn one buck (you can access this from the link on the left side of the main page)

*Visit Trusted Surveys every day – you’ll earn one buck just for visiting and you may earn even more for completing surveys!

*Check out the No Obligation Special Offers – you don’t have to complete any offers, but you will earn one buck just for scrolling through them!

*Do a few searches every day until you win at least once. I search for things that I would normally be searching for online anyway and I have found that I can easily earn 10-30 Swagbucks each day by doing this. Your searches do need to be “natural” searches. If it does not seem like your searches are legitimate, they may freeze or even close your account.

*If you have a Facebook account, become a “fan” of Swagbucks on Facebook. Click here to do this. If you check out the wall, there are bonus codes posted from time to time that you can add to your account. (To add bonus codes, log into Swagbucks, and then click on the icon that says “You have X Swagbucks.” There will be a box that says this: Have a SwagCode? Just enter it here and receive your SwagBucks instantly! Enter your code and click GIMME!)

*Publish your Swagbucks winnings on Facebook – when you “win” a buck, you now have the option of posting your win on Facebook. It shows up on your profile and it’s another way to promote your Swagbucks account (and get more ‘friends’)

*Read the Swagbucks blog (you can access this here). Bonus codes are posted here, as well.

*Sign up for the Swagbucks newsletter. They send bonus codes embedded in the newsletter, so it’s an easy way to earn extra Swagbucks!

*Download the Swagbucks Toolbar onto your internet browser – Click on the “toolbars” option on the left hand side of the website after you log in and follow the instructions! (you will earn one buck each day just for using the toolbar)

*Post the Swidget on your blog or your Facebook page. You can download it here.

*Tell all your friends – When your friends sign up under you, you win when they win for the first 1000 Swagbucks (this does not include any Swagcodes that they enter)

I have found that I typically earn at least 30 Swagbucks per day just by doing the things listed above. That adds up to 900 Swagbucks in one month’s time (or 2 $5 Amazon gift cards!). I work full time and I only do searches from home (non working hours) and I’m able to do this, so it isn’t something that you have to spend a lot of time on, but you should easily be able to earn $120 in Amazon gift cards in a year’s time. If you’d rather have gift cards for somewhere else, that would give you enough to cash out for $100 in Target gift cards (these can only be used online) or for 8 $10 Starbucks gift cards. If your goal is to do a 100% Cash Christmas, this will help you!

HAPPY SWAGGING!

FAQS: (Check out Walgreens new coupon policy here!)

Do you do multiple transactions at one store on one visit?
It just depends. Several stores in my area have gone to a “one RR per item per day” rule, which means I can’t do more than one transaction where I’m earning RR for the same product at the same store. Some of the stores in my area also will not let you use the RR you earn from one transaction on another transaction in that same visit.  I’m fortunate to have several stores within a few minutes of my house, so I usually try to break up transactions at different stores and on different days to stay in the good graces of my stores.

What is Walgreens policy on using BOGO free coupons with a BOGO free offer, adjusting down coupons, etc.?
The new coupon policy does not really using a BOGO free coupon with a BOGO free promotion, but it does say you can use up to two coupons as long as the total doesn’t go below zero, so, you SHOULD be able to do this!!

Walgreens coupon policy is now to adjust the value of coupons down – YAY!!

Some helpful tips:
*At Walgreens, you can use ONE manufacturer’s coupon and ONE store coupon per item (always give the store coupon last to avoid problems)

*At Walgreens, you cannot do a promotion more than once in a transaction and earn Register Rewards. (for example, if you buy 2 Listerine, you will only earn a RR for one)

*You also typically cannot use the Register Rewards earned from a promotion on the same promotion and earn Register Rewards again. For example, if you buy the Listerine and use the RR from that to buy more, the RR will not print

*Register Rewards are considered to be “manufacturer’s coupons” and you can only use one manufacturer’s coupon per item. You will have to add “filler” items if you are using a manufacturer’s coupon and a RR. The in ad coupons often have good, inexpensive filler items. (check out the weekly match-ups for ideas)

*If you are using more than one RR in a transaction, always give the RR with the highest value FIRST. Sometimes strange things happen with coupons and taxes and even if you think you have planned out your scenario very well, you will end up with more overage than you planned for.

*If you are buying items that would result in a “free” item or “overage” when combining a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon, give the manufacturer’s coupon FIRST, and the store coupons LAST to avoid beeping/issues at the register! Make sure that you are purchasing enough items in your total transaction to “cover” the overage. You will not get cash back and you will have to add items to cover the overage or they will not take the coupon.

*If your Register Reward doesn’t print for some reason and you have fulfilled all of the obligations for the “deal” (including not using RR from the same parent company to pay) DO NOT let them tell you it is because you used coupons! Chances are they didn’t print because the catalina machine is not working. You have two choices: you can return your items and try again or you can contact the catalina company by doing the following:
*The store will give you a form to fill out and mail in to catalina
*Call 1-877-210-1917, option 1

More CVS freebies!

This week just got even better at CVS! Here are some more freebies to be on the look-out for!  Make sure you check out the rest of the CVS weekly deals here.

Neutrogena Split End Mender is $7.49 this week and you get a $7.49 ECB when you purchase it, so it’s free after ECBs!  The limit is one per household.
(Thanks IheartCVS!)

Scanning your Extra Care card at the scanners in the store (or “magic coupon machines” as I like to call them) is always a good idea, but this week it really pays off because it has been reported that a CRT for $1 off ANY CVS brand lotion is printing.  You can get these travel size bottles for free if you get this coupon!
(Thanks Money Saving Madness!)

Some stores reportedly have Nivea lip balm marked at $.99.  Use the $1/1 (or $2/2) Nivea lip balm coupon from the 10-3 inserts and you’ll get free lip balm!
