Kroger Quadruple Fuel Rewards Points for Gift card Purchases + $25 Kroger Gift Card Giveaway

Kroger has an AWESOME promotion going on right now where they are offering Quadruple Fuel Rewards points for gift card purchases!  For every $25 you spend on gift cards from the kiosks inside Kroger stores, you will earn 100 fuel points, which will give you a $.10 per gallon discount the next time you fuel up at a participating Kroger or Shell gas station!

During the holiday season, I typically give gift cards as gifts to my kids teachers, and I love that I can choose from a variety of gift cards and get my grocery shopping done at the same time!  Earning quadruple fuel rewards points is an added bonus!  There has been an increase in credit card theft at restaurants, so we have also started picking up restaurant gift cards to use when we eat out!  You can buy gift cards to use for your holiday shopping, too so that you can take advantage of the Quadruple Fuel Rewards Points promotion!  Choose from retailers such as Macy’s, JCPenney, Sears, Starbucks, iTunes, Lowes, Gap and Old Navy, Chili’s and Best Buy, among many others.

I often get questions asking how this works or if it’s really a good deal.  It is for me.  Here’s an example.  A local restaurant we have been wanting to try has a $25 gift certificate for $20.  The “fine print” says that you have to spend at least $35 and that 18% gratuity is added.  Given thecost of food at this location, we would easily be spending $35 anyway.

Here’s a breakdown on pricing:

Buy $25 Restaurant.com certificate – priced at $20

-$16 (80% off code)

Spend $4 + $10 (because our total would be at least $35) and $6.30 for the 18% gratuity – we’re getting a meal that would have been $41.30 with tip for $20.30.  That’s basically half price!  Sounds like a good deal to me!

Walmart has a great deal on pajamas for infant and toddler boys and girls right now!  You can get 2 pairs of favorite character pajamas for just $12.  That’s $6 per pair!  I always struggle to find good deals on pajamas, especially character pajamas.  This is a great deal and they will sell out quickly!  They are available in sizes 12 months through 5T.

For girls, they’ve got Disney Princesses, Dora, Hello Kitty, and Minnie Mouse.  The tops and bottoms can be mixed and matched, which I love!
