P&G e-Saver coupons are back! You can load these coupons right onto your customer loyalty card if you shop at at store that is participating in this promotion. Read this post to find out more about loadable coupons and how they work. One thing I am not sure about is if you will still be able to use “paper” manufacturer’s coupons in combination with these loadable coupons. This has always worked in the past with the P&G coupons. I promised a month’s worth of recipes from the stockpile and for your budget and this is my first recipe! The recipe was Creamy Corn Chowder and I found it on Our Best Bites. All of these ingredients were things that I already had “on hand” I actually stockpiled Hormel bacon pieces (the ones that come in a jar) awhile ago because I had coupons that tripled and got an amazing deal on them plus they have a long shelf life. It ends up being way cheaper than bacon and I have used it in many different recipes. I almost always have a bag of potatoes on hand, too.
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. butter (I used I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter)
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. water
2 1/2 c. milk (I used skim milk and it worked just fine)
2 regular-sized chicken bouillon cubes, 1 Knorr chicken bouillon cube, or 2 tsp. chicken base
1/2 lb. bacon (optional, I’m going to use crumbled bacon pieces)
1 onion, minced
2 red potatoes, diced into small cubes
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can corn, drained
Salt and pepper to taste
A few dashes of hot sauce (like Tabasco or Cholula)
Fry bacon until crisp (if you’re using the bacon pieces, you can obviously skip this step!). In the meantime, melt butter over low heat in a soup pot. When melted, add flour to make a roux and whisk until it comes together in a little ball. Add water and whisk until completely combined and there are no lumps. Add milk and chicken base or bouillon and bring to a simmer. Add potatoes, onions, and garlic, and simmer (but don’t boil!), stirring very frequently, for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add crumbled bacon and corn and heat through. Add a few drops of hot sauce and then salt to taste.
Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with extra bacon and/or cheese if you want.
WW points – On the Our Best Bites site, it lists this as being 3 points per serving, but when I put all of the ingredients into the Recipe Builder on WW.com, it came out to 8 points per serving (for 4 servings). The bulk of that was from the bacon pieces, so you could cut down the points by cutting that. You would need to add additional points if you add cheese.
This recipe was a hit with my family (even my two year old who has recently decided he doesn’t like anything before he even tries it!).

Lately printable coupons seem to be going FAST (sometimes by the time I get home from work, the good ones are already gone), so I recommend printing these now! Frozen foods ~ Randalls (Safeway family of stores) has a hot frozen foods catalina deal all month (spend $25 on select frozen food items, get a $10 catalina). Several of these “frozen foods” coupons will likely match up with that deal:

$1.50/1 Birds Eye Steamfresh meals – these were a part of the Randalls catalina deal last year!
$.75/1 Freschetta frozen pizzas (some zip codes got a $1/1 coupon) – if you printed this before, it has reset!
$1/1 Ore Ida Steam ‘n Mash potatoes – I first tried these during the Randalls “frozen foods catalina deal” last year and I love them!
$1/1 Smuckers Uncrustables – if you printed this before, it has reset!

$.40/1 Betty Crock potatoes (boxed or pouches) – wait for a 10/$10 sale and get these for super cheap if your stores double or triple coupons (plus there are usually loadable coupons at cellfire.com and shortcuts.com that you can pair with these!)
$1/1 DelMonte Fruit Chillers Tubes or Cups – get these at Target for cheap!
$.75/1 Gold Medal flour – watch for this to go 10/$10 as it gets closer to Easter and get a 5 lb bag of flour for only $.25!
$1/2 Hillshire Farms Hearty Slices lunchmeat
$1.50/2 Kashi TLC bars – get a deal on these at Target this week!
$1.50/2 Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats cereal
$.75/1 Lunchables Combination Subs – get these for cheap at Walmart and Kroger!(if you printed them previously, it has reset)

$.55/1 Sara Lee Soft & Smooth bread or buns – This is priced at $1.72 at my Walmart stores, so you can get it for $1.17 after coupon!
$.40/1 Betty Crocker potatoes (boxes or pouches) – you should be able to get these cheap during a 10/$10 sale if your stores double or triple coupons!
$.50/1 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers – if your grocery stores double coupons, these go 10/$10 pretty often, so you should be able to get them for free!
$.50/3 Kleenex tissues – use this for the RR deal at Walgreens
